Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She took a course in harpsichord and the flautist piano for 3 years. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as the other Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. The group didn't appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She sang lead to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her debut solo album Diva. This was released in 1992. It was an enormous achievement, both in terms of selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favourite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. The group went on during the 80s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics.
